The Holy is a five-piece band from Helsinki, Finland, incorporating two drum kits into their sound. 2018’s “Daughter” has a compelling post-punk sound to it, with racing drums, insistent catchy guitar lines, lush synths, and powerfully delivered emotionally rich vocals. The production has depth and range, and there’s an balance of urgency and epic sweep. The sound is maybe a blend of The Editors and U2, and it’s a tasteful mix.
