Edith Frost’s “Love Is Real”: EP review

After the somewhat languid “Telescopic,” 1999’s concise 10 minute EP “Love Is Real” is a bit more energetic and less floaty, more Americana-folk-indie-country. It’s a good combination though maybe not the most memorable EP I’ve ever heard. The title track is the standout number, a mid-paced minor key acoustic guitar strummer with a catchy chorus hook and a nice organ line.
