“Victor Frankenstein”: Film review

Bang! Explosions! And people jumping! A fist fight! Fireworks and a police chase! Then some people shouting! Big speeches in Britishy accents!
Somewhere in there is an attempt to lend great poignance and patois to a story that already goddamned had by the bucketload just as it was in the original Shelley narrative.
Sigh.
A shoddy load of old claptrap.
1994’s adaptation remains probably the most faithful dramatization of the original.MV5BMTc2Mjk0MTM0NF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNjgyOTg1NjE@._V1_UX182_CR0,0,182,268_AL_.jpg
