Markus Midnight’s “It’s always midnight”: Music review

Markus Midnight’s first album, 2014’s “It’s always midnight,” places the vocals further forward in the mix than in the subsequent “Death at midnight,” and for me this raises the ante a little, pushing the album deeper into darkwave goth territory, conjuring Peter Murphy and the dark shadows of an early 2000s New York City goth club.
