Cult of Youth: Music review

The self-titled 2010 album from Brooklyn collective Cult of Youth presents a Shane McGowan-esque vocalist with a touch of Nick Cave, caterwauling over furiously strummed acoustic guitars, synth, violin, and bass and drums. There’s a little bit of Dropkick Murphys in here, unfortunately, because I can’t stand those guys.
