The Soft Moon’s “Zero”: Music review

The claustrophobic “It ends” sets the tone for The Soft Moon’s “Zero,” the bass drum signaling a slowing heartbeat as the song winds down, as the sound of breathing becomes shallower, leaving you with a choking panicked sensation that never fully evaporates in the stifled chorus bass and the angsty warbly synth lines. This is The Cure’s “Pornography” buried alive in a shallow grave, with industrial beats.
